What is collected
- Newsletter subscribers: email address, optional first name, a consent timestamp, and the source page you subscribed from.
- Founder nominations: the details submitted through the nomination form, including nominator and founder contact information and the description of the decision being suggested.
How it is used
Newsletter details are used only to send The Letter. Nomination details are used only by the editorial desk to evaluate and, if appropriate, follow up on a potential story.
What is never published
Nomination submissions and the subscriber list are never published, sold, or shared with third parties. Only material a founder has agreed to publish, after editorial review, appears on the site.
Retention
Nomination records are retained for as long as they may inform future reporting, or until you ask us to delete them. Newsletter details are retained until you unsubscribe.
Analytics
No third-party analytics or tracking script runs on this site without your consent.
